It all started back in 1975 when a friend encouraged me to read his book on Uri Geller. The fact they were having weird phenomena and ufo sightings seemed to run concurrent with my local sightings and the odd phenomena surrounding me, so I decided to go and meet with him at one of his lectures in Toronto, Ontario. I stayed afterward and patiently waited for the crowd to thin and approached him about the encounters I was having with light and sound. He said that he and Uri had heard odd cheeping sounds on his property as well. He invited me and my friend Julie to follow him to Marshall McLuhans’ house that night, where I got to meet J. Allen Hynek, who told me these odd beeping sounds meant I was close to the phenomena.

Within a few months he was sitting in my kitchen in Orton, Ontario talking about the future and that he would get me a tape recording of the “cheeping sound” he and Uri had taped at his property in Ossining, New York. I gave him a cassette recording of my beeping sound that was tied to my ufo encounter. We continued to communicate until I got a letter from him inviting me to The Mind Link set for August 1977.
